After the first few weeks of the 2025 hunting season, some of you may already have a tag punched — while others are still holding out for cooler weather. Either way, now’s the perfect time to sharpen your skills and gear up for a better, longer, and more comfortable season.
I’ve been hard at work improving what the Camo Matrix platform can do for you — helping you choose the right camo pattern or brand while also saving money in the process.

I just added Rocky Boots to CamoHuntnStuff.com. Not only do they offer great boots, but they also make hunting apparel in their own Venator camo pattern.
๐จ ENDING TODAY: Get 50% off select Rocky hunting apparel.
Hit the site now and grab what you need before the sale disappears.
The Compare Tool on the new Camo Matrix site has exploded in popularity since its July relaunch — with thousands of camo pattern comparisons made daily.
If a brand shown in your comparison is running a sale (and it’s marked as an affiliate, featured, or sponsor), a small in-page alert will now show up. You’ll know immediately if you’re comparing a camo that's on sale.
Also new: the “On Sale Now” button. Tap it to get a snapshot of over 1000 discounted items from brands on CamoHuntnStuff.com. If what you want isn’t on sale, just hit the โญ icon to add it to MyGear — and you’ll get an email alert as soon as the price drops.

If you were freezing something off last year, check out my recent post on ActionHeat gear. I’ve hand-picked items that can be layered underneath your current camo, so you don’t have to ditch your favorite outerwear. This gear works great for long, frigid sits in a treestand or blind.

I’ve been testing the Code of Silence early-season system — and I’m impressed. The comfort, quality, and quiet fabric are all top-tier. I’ll be running it the rest of the season and posting a full review soon on the Camo Matrix YouTube Channel.

I’ve also been wearing a heated pullover from TideWe, in Veil Avayde camo, while hunting high elevation in Montana. The nighttime temps were close to freezing — and when I kicked the heater on, I was surprised at how much warmth it pumped out. TideWe is worth checking out for jackets, blinds, boots, and more.
Don’t get stuck thinking you need to wear one brand head-to-toe. I just posted a breakdown of a day in the field where I ran multiple brands and patterns together for real-world concealment.
Day 1: Sitka Open Country, Sitka Subalpine, Skre Solace, First Lite Fusion, Kuiu Valo
Day 2: Code of Silence S18, Sitka Open Country, ASAT, Nomad’s Mossy Oak Shadow Leaf
This isn’t a fashion show — it’s about breaking up the human shape and hunting longer, harder, and smarter.
