Hey everyone,
I wanted to take a minute to share what’s been happening behind the scenes at Camo Matrix, because a lot has changed — and most of it is focused on helping you save money and make better gear decisions.
I’m now working with more brands than ever, and many of them are sending over regular updates on sales, closeouts, and limited-time offers. Instead of dumping everything into one big list, I’m pulling out the best deals that actually save you money and featuring them:
Right on the homepage
On a dedicated deals page with a full list of current offers
If a brand sends over five updates, only the ones that matter most make the cut.
We’re also tracking daily price updates across the site. These show up on the homepage and on the Price Drop page, and they refresh often.
Many of these aren’t small changes — some are significant price drops. If you’re hunting for a deal on a specific item, a quick check there can save you a surprising amount of money. Just a heads-up though: the biggest drops don’t always last long.
Here’s where things currently stand:
7,980 total products
314 categories
313 brands
1,662 items on sale today
And yes — new products are being added constantly.
I also want to share a bit about what we’re building in the Camo Matrix Lab.
We’re developing what will be the most advanced camo evaluation system on the planet, designed to objectively analyze how camouflage performs in specific environments. The system evaluates things like:
Color
Shape
Contrast
Edges
Density
All of this is used to help match camo patterns to real-world terrain and conditions — not just how they look on a product page.
If you’re interested in participating or learning more about how the lab works, you can reach out through the contact form and I’ll send you details on how to get involved.
As hunting seasons wrap up, it’s a good time to think about storing your gear properly.
Before putting everything away, I strongly recommend washing your clothing with Dead Down Wind Unscented Liquid Laundry Detergent. It removes tough stains, eliminates odors, and is safe for sensitive skin — without using harsh chemicals.
Dead Down Wind uses an advanced enzyme formula, which is especially effective for hunting gear.
A quick science note:
Enzymes are active proteins found in all living matter — people, animals, and plants. They aren’t living organisms themselves, but they’re essential to life. Inside every cell, enzymes direct the processes that keep it alive. Without enzymes, life on Earth wouldn’t exist.
That same process helps break down odor-causing compounds and organic residues in your gear, leaving it clean and scent-free before storage.
As always, thanks for being part of Camo Matrix. I’ll keep pushing to make this the best resource possible for camo research, gear comparison, and real savings.
More updates soon,
Camo Matrix
